OCEAN TRANSPORTATION – CRYING FOR INVESTMENT
There are several cities around the world surrounded by water but which little or no effort is made towards investment in ocean transportation. There is the need to look at what transportation will the masses pay the least amount? What transportation has the accident severity rate and accident frequency rate? TRAVEL TRANSPORTATION COST Comparing travel transportation cost, air transportation is the most expensive, followed by road transportation and the least is water transportation. TRAVEL TRANSPORTATION ACCIDENT SEVERITY RATE From incident reports, air transportation has the highest severity rate as there is little or no chance for survival if a plane has problem on air. The impact of the plane due to its speed and distance from ground makes survival near impossible.
