The Grand Hotel Flora Sorrento

If you want to be sure that you are staying in a luxury hotel then one of the nicest places to stay is the Grand Hotel Flora that is based in the center of Sorrento. You can benefit from some of the most amazing views you can imagine and you will also get the opportunity to try some stunning authentic food.
If you want to really be in the heart of Sorrento then this is the place to choose. You are just a few minutes’ walk from all that Sorrento has to offer meaning that in no time at all you can be shopping in the top of the market stores and trying to decide exactly where you are going to eat that day.
Meals are provided at the hotel and if you do opt to eat there before starting sight-seeing then you are in for a treat as there is an exceptional variety of dishes. Breakfast can be either a buffet style cold breakfast of a cooked one. Dinner is provided as a set menu but of an evening or A la Carte. If you are there during the summer you can take advantage of the entertainment provided at the Gala Dinner that is put on weekly.
For entertainment you can stay around the pool and relax or cross the road and practice your tennis at the courts there. The pool has a snack bar meaning that you don’t have to give up your sun bed to get refreshment.
The hotel provides 24 hour reception so if there are any problems at any time of the day or night, then you will have someone to help. Your travel agent will be able to check anything that is provided but needs to be paid for.
The Grand Hotel Flora has 128 rooms and there are three lifts so there is no need to worry about getting up to your floor. All rooms are air conditioned through the hottest months of the year and as you would imagine are all en-suite. There is a television and hair dryer provided as are a phone, and min-fridge.
Standard rooms have a balcony and are facing a road, but if you want to pay a little extra then there are rooms that have a sea view. Regardless of the view and whether or not there is a balcony, the rooms are of the highest quality.
The only real downside to staying at this luxury hotel  is that in the high season there needs to be 3 hours allowed for transfer to and from the airport although it is normally 1 ½ – 2.
