3 Luxury Homes in Paris
If you’ve ever been to Paris, you understand why many people consider it to be one of the most romantic and luxurious places to live on the globe. Here are just a few of its accolades: It is considered the fashion capital of the world. It is also considered to be the most architecturally elegant. The restaurants, boutiques, museums and layout make it one of the most culturally interesting cities- it is one of the most visited cities, as proof. Not surprisingly, it is home to some of the most expensive and luxurious real estate in the world.
After a few bumpy years in the luxe-home market, the Parisian market is bouncing back and prime property is now going for $27,590 – 50,000 per square foot, depending on variables such as: which floor it is one and desirable amenities. Generally speaking, the higher the floor, the more expensive the square footage, which has become an international standard.
Today’s millionaires aren’t blinking an eye at the cost and are ready to jump the minute a high-end property goes on the market. Parisian real estate moves quickly and now, more than ever, it is attracting wealthy buyers from other countries, such as Argentina, Brazil, America and Russia. The international elite home-buying moguls know that real estate investing in the city of love will always reap big rewards. Although every area of Paris is lovely, there are some districts that are more attractive for high-end deals than others.
For example, luxury properties that are on either side of the Seine are difficult to come by, as are properties in Paris’ Golden Triangle area (Avenue Montaigne, Avenue des Champs-Élysée and George V). This area is known for being the home for many of the world’s top designer boutiques, like Chanel, Louis Vuitton and John Paul Gaultier as well as 5-star restaurants, hotels and clubs.
One of the other luxurious and expensive neighborhoods is the Left Bank, which runs along the Boulevard St-Germain and the Quays – alongside the Seine. This is the 6th district, and the area where Hemingway, Picasso, Camus and other artists hung out in the early 1900s. It is also known for its restaurants, boutiques, clubs and fashionable real estate.
Right Bank – Left Bank, we love it all. Here are three of our favorite properties that are contemporary, luxurious and remarkably elegant.
