Yacht Time for Miranda Kerr and James Packer

Super model, Miranda Kerr (31) and Australian casino billionaire, James Packer (46) have finally been photographed together while being ferried to his super yacht, the Arctic P after months of squashing and denying rumors of a relationship between them.
One of the reasons for keeping the relationship on the down-low is because of her split with ex-husband Orlando Bloom last year. Reports have stated the split was amicable but possibly caused by Bloom’s desire to “get his party on” a little too much for her lifestyle or taste.
Miranda is the third highest paid super model in the world and a former Victoria’s Secret model, so she is constantly in the public eye. Our guess about the secrecy might be more about her three-year old son, Flynn, who is very much connected to his mommy. She may be exercising “typical mother cautiousness” before committing to a relationship publicly.

Parker’s been married a couple of times but split with his wife of six years, singer Erica Baxter, during this past year. Erica was recently seen with Miranda’s ex, Orlando, in Spain just about the same time Kerr and Packer were seen boarding the yacht. The whole situation is amicable as far as the public eye could see.

Now, a little about this phenomenal yacht and then we will get back to the romance. The 87.58 meter Arctic P was built in 1969 by Germany’s Schichau Unterwesser and can accommodate up to 12 passengers with a crew of 25. It was originally built as an icebreaker barge and was owned by Packer’s father, Kerry. James inherited in it 2005. The yacht was refitted in 2013 to the tune of $10 million, with luxury suites, a helipad and more, thus making it the 50th largest private yacht in the world.

This is a selfie that Miranda posted while on the Arctic P. The rumors that the couple may only be together because of a business deal was subtley negated by Packer. However, outsiders speculated that Miranda is looking for investors for her new cosmetic line, Kora. It is not likely as the couple started their friendship while her separation with Bloom and his split with Erica was still warm, so either they are close friends or romantic partners.

For those who aren’t familiar with reinvented Packer, he is now one of the world’s most eligible bachelors. He went from chunky to hunky after showing the world it can be done with a little effort. The transformation was partly due to a keyhole gastric bypass surgery at a clinic in Los Angeles, the other part was sheer determination and traditional body conditioning and strengthening methods.
Of course, another attractive feature is that the billionaire also has a strong business sense. Where many family heirs might be satisfied to live off trusts and the family fortune, James has actively set out to increase his family’s holdings by adding casinos and other high profile projects. He is definitely a Renaissance man and someone to watch.
As far as the relationship stands, we will just have to keep watching the duo to see where it goes. The yacht time for Miranda Kerr and James Packer could have further stoked the fires of romance. Although they live on different continents, they are both Australian and seriously wealthy, so anything is possible.
These two could be the world’s  hottest new global power couple. Watch out Kanye and Kim.
