Diego Della Valle Reopens Sleeping Beauty Schiaparelli



This time again, Schiaparelli, a leading fashion house is at the limelight again! Reuters reports that Farida Khelfa has been named an ambassador of the fashion manufacturer. According to the press reports, the fashion house is being given a new lease of life by Tod’s chairman-Diego Della Valle.The fashion house is well known for its luxury brands all over the world. The luxury brands fashion house has been lying idle for many decades and its reopening has been well received by fashion enthusiasts. The business specializes in the manufacture of high quality dresses and suits.
The water has not settled since Diego Della Valle re-launched another sleepy giant that specialized in the manufacture of top of the range shoes. Della Valle says that his main goal is to bring back the former giant to life again! He says that his goal is to get the manufacturer of luxury products and labels to its feet before branching to other product lines such as perfumes, Jewelry and accessories.
Farida Khelfa is married to businessman Seydoux Henri and her wedding was held last month. Among the dignitaries in  attendance are the Nicolas Sarkozy,the  former French president  and his  wife Carla Bruni.Della Valle  stated that  Khelfa,their  ambassador was never in  a hurry  and  will grace the  company’s events in future  so as top ensure that more market penetration is  achieved.
Khelfa further added that the luxury brands company was going to choose an experienced and market oriented designer in the next few weeks. This immediately dismissed the  rumors that John Galliano was  among the  front  runners seeking the  company’s  design  position.Khelfa  states that the  name of the  chosen designer  would be made public  after  someone  is  chosen. As a matter if fact, the right designer needs to be chosen if the company is to be re-launched successfully. According  to Emmanuel Alt.Schiaparelli is  indeed  a beautiful  and  attractive name, but he said that he is  not  sure if many people in the  streets really know  what it means.
Della Vella  purchased the  name  and  archives of Schiaparelli in 2006 and  had to wait  for 6 years  for its  official lease  address in  central Paris to be available. The  address of the  company is  at the 21 Place Vendome, a place that’s  close  to the  Ritz Hotel  and  the  new jewelry  store for  Louis Vuitton.The property was refurbished  quite well before each of the  storey  were rent out. The luxury brand has lush salons where meetings with clients are held. They are decorated with Schiaparelli and Salvador Dali’s drawings.
