Johnny Depp And His Luxury Homes
Johnny Depp is holds the 2012 record of being the highest paid actor, listed in Guinness Book of World Records at $75 million. It is clear in everyone’s mind that he could afford a dozen luxury homes at any given time. He does have sprawling luxury homes inFranceand theUS. He also owns his own island in The Bahamas, a purchase that he candidly called as a “spur of the moment” decision. You can really just imagine him living in an island considering that he is most famous for his roles in the Pirates of the Caribbean movie franchise.
Depp owns 2 luxury homes in Los Angeles,California. One can just speculate why he would own 2 mansions in 1 city but with the money he earns, he could even take a third home in LA if he wanted. Then again, you have to take into consideration that LA is a big city and Depp has split with his partner of 14 years. Having 2 homes in 1 city is quite rational then. Also, the second one is said to be a “bachelor’s” pad. Considering that he is now a real bachelor even if he does have 2 gorgeous kids, the bachelor’s pad is the apt choice.
France Is the place that Depp is said to have really fallen in love with. In fact, there had been some issues about him criticizing the US on a number of occasions. He has a fabulous luxury home in Le Plan-de-la-Tour, a small French town. Another magnificent home is located in Meudon, Paris. He seems to favor his homes in France or The Bahamas but does split his time between all of his homes. He has also been quoted as saying that he prefers his island home, especially with its high privacy and a setting closest to nature.
Although unconfirmed by Depp, the media has claimed that he also has a home in the UK, particularly in Burnham Market,Norfolk. While filming for The Tourist, Depp fell in love with Venice. He loved it so much that he purchased a grand palazzo by the canal.
He values his privacy, admitting to the media that he only goes out of his home when necessary. He could easily spend months in his home, enjoying the garden or the facilities in his luxury abode. This comes as no surprise to people who do know this high-profile man personally. Though the top-billing Hollywood icon, he is quite down-to-Earth and is a notoriously private man.
