Three City Tour – London – Paris – Amsterdam.

If you want to get a taste of a few places before booking a full holiday there, then there is a a European tour that will allow you to spend a few days in a few places. It will be just enough to help you decide if you like the area but not too much to make a return pointless. One European trip is London/Paris/Amsterdam and the time you are there will be a perfect sample of what each City has to offer.
Starting out in London you will spend the first day walking around some of the sites including Covent Garden and Soho. If you are lucky you may even have been able to book a show at the West End. You will spend 2 days here and there is plenty to see. If you like culture then there is The British Museum, The National Portrait Gallery and the Science Museum. Big Ben and The Houses of Parliament can be seen and it is possible to go round Buckingham Palace. You can learn all about the people who ended up in the Tower of London and each night there will be plenty of places to eat and drink with probably every possible cuisine covered.

Shopping will be optional and here you can choose to go around the local flea market or go for the top end of the market and go to Harrods or Harvey Nichols. The next part of your European travel is the trip to Paris.

Once in Paris there are a couple of days spent here. Notre Dame should not be missed and the Louvre is another place to soak up the culture. Pastry shops are everywhere and even though you are not there for long, spend a bit of time in a café watching the world go by. Versailles will be a pleasure and you can marvel at how well King Louis XIV lived.

Again night life is varied and there will be plenty of restaurants, bars and casinos to enjoy before you set of for Amsterdam.
Life seems to be a little less rushed here and a bike ride will let you take in the whole of the city. There are plenty of coffee shops – take care as this may not be the sort of coffee and cake you are used to – and a trip to Anne Frank’s house is a must.
You can finish off your European tour with a cruise and a selection of great places to eat and as long as you are careful you can travel down the famous red light district.
