A Childhood Dream And A Luxury Location In Levi, Lapland

If you want a truly amazing holiday for your child then a luxury holiday to Lapland is just what is needed. Adults will love the snow covered land and children will love meeting Santa Claus. There is a great deal to do during the day and then the nights can be spent in a beautiful hotel or log cabin. Most travel agencies will advice going for about 4 or 5 days as any longer will mean that children get tired and can miss out towards the end of the trip.
Levi is an ideal place to stay as it is a ski resort and the adults and children alike can enjoy skiing, husky rides and trips to see the reindeers undertaken on snowmobiles.  As you approach the forest you will become aware of a very special person living there and that is Santa himself.
Although the weather is very cold a log cabin is going to keep you warm. The semi detached cabin can be modern or designed in the old Lappish way.  There are at least 2 bedrooms, a fully equipped kitchen, sauna, TV and DVD.  The log fire will keep you warm through the night and add a lovely touch to the event. Breakfast is provided on arrival but after that you can order food for the cabin or eat out a variety of restaurants. If you want to know anything about the area you have your own private elf to help you.
If you prefer a hotel then the Sokos Hotel allows you to walk to wherever you want to go. With 202 rooms the hotel is tastefully decorated and has all the amenities you could expect from a luxury hotel.  All rooms are en-suite and have a TV and modern hardwood floors. If you decide to stay in for the evening there is a choice of a restaurant or café and before retiring to the bar you can relax in the sauna or Jacuzzi. You will stay on a bed and breakfast deal leaving you the rest of the day to do what you want.
As you are only going to be there a few days there is the chance to hire warm clothing rather than purchase and pack items you won’t really need again.
When staying in a cabin Santa will come to visit you on the last night and you can discuss his visit over a festive dinner later on. For hotel guests the visit will have happened during the final day. Your elf should be made aware of a letter Santa may have been sent and gifts requested.
